Downderry and Seaton, two charming Cornish coastal villages, share a vibrant community spirit, with the Village Hall at their very heart. The Village Hall welcomes members, residents, and visitors alike to participate in a diverse range of fundraising events and activities. These events are organised by the Village Hall Trustees, the dedicated 'Friends of the Village Hall', and other enthusiastic local residents, organisations, and groups.
The Downderry and Seaton Village Hall is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) with wider membership, Registered Charity Number 1210090.

This is an incredible amount of money that many of you have contributed towards. We are thrilled to have your support. We still have some way to go, so your continued support is absolutely crucial NOW to get the essential renovations needed to the Village Hall completed. Securing the future of this community owned hub means you, your family, friends and neighbours can continue to attend a wide variety of events and activities that are so important for everyone's health and wellbeing.
There are many ways you can get involved and help us raise the necessary funds. Consider, making a donation or a pledge, organising or taking part in a sponsored event, or donating items or your time for auctions and raffles. Downderry Christmas Extravaganza
Saturday 6th December
An afternoon full of fun for all the family, including the annual Children's Lantern Parade and Christmas Lights Switch On.
Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th December
Come and support our many talented local crafters and buy some unique handmade pieces.
Thursday 11th December
Enjoy a fun afternoon with family and friends or make new ones.
Friday 12th December
Celebrate the season with festive fun, play Bingo with family and friends.
Children's Christmas Magical Mayhem
Sunday 14th December
Register your child today for our annual Children's Christmas Event.
Sunday 21st December
Support our local producers and buy some delicious fresh produce.
Regular Village Hall Fundraising Events and Activities
Usually the last Friday in the month, 6.30pm for 7.30pm start.
Usually the 1st Tuesday in the month, 10am to 12 noon.
Usually the 3rd Saturday in the month, 10am to 1pm (last orders 12.45pm).
We offer a variety of groups and activities vital for everyone's wellbeing.
