Downderry and Seaton Village Hall is a vibrant hub for our community, offering a variety of groups and activities vital for everyone's health and wellbeing. It's a place where residents and visitors alike can connect, learn, and stay active.

The Village Hall has several Groups which current members of the Village Hall can join. New members are always welcome and can just turn up or use the contact details below. There is a charge of £1 per person per session.
Badminton:
The Village Hall has a full size badminton court. All equipment is provided.
Wednesday 2pm to 4pm
Drama:
The Drama Group was formed in 1985 and welcomes everyone who would like to tread the boards or help behind the scenes. No experience is necessary.
Tuesday evening from 7.15pm to 10pm

Short Mat Bowls:
There are two mats that are regularly used for some friendly games.
Tuesday 2pm to 4pm
Snooker:
The Village Hall has a dedicated Snooker Room, available for use by all current Village Hall members.
For those who wish to access the table more freely, members can pay a £10 charge to obtain a key. This allows for play when no matches are scheduled, during cleaning times (typically Monday mornings), or at other times agreed by the Board of Trustees. Members are also permitted to bring guests occasionally.
The Snooker Room is also home to two active teams competing in the Liskeard Snooker and Billiards League:
The Billiards team typically plays on Thursday evenings.
The Snooker League games are held on Wednesday evenings.

Pilates:
Mondays 11.10am to 12.10pm and 12.15pm to 1.15pm

Qigong:
Mondays - 2pm to 3pm, starting 1st September
Qigong, pronounced “chee gung” is an ancient Chinese moving meditation exercise, that looks similar to Tai Chi, but is easier to learn and practice. It is gentle on the physical body, and can be practiced by anyone either standing or sitting.

Whitsand Harmony:
Whitsand Harmony is a well-established four part harmony (SATB) choir singing a wide variety of music from Mozart to Mercury.

A relaxing & supportive yoga class either seated, standing or on a mat.
