Fury of the Wild

Fury of the Wild was commonly used for the "monkcher" high-DPS ranged build, leveraging the Adrenaline boosts for burst damage with Manyshot and Ten Thousand Stars.

A Barbarian-aligned destiny, Fury of the Wild is generally geared for survival and dominance against enemies by melee fighters. The destiny could be an option for Shintao tankers, but offers one significant tier 4 ability for Ninja Spies that is expensive to Twist, but may be well worth it.

Notable Abilities

Adrenaline causes you to be Raged, adding brief but dramatic melee damage and critical threat range bonuses. You gain more Adrenaline charges as you train more innate abilities.

Primal Scream will give a Rage effect to you and allies, with up to +5 Morale bonus to STR and CON.

Injury: When you are damaged, enemies are Shaken and start to bleed. You might paralyze enemies if your HP is less than 30%.

Damage Reduction gives up to +6 PRR to non-Barbarians.

Insult is a threat-generating hit but also temporarily strengthens enemy STR and CON while dropping their AC, fortification and Concentration.

Gird Against Demons will give weapons (not handwraps) Cold Iron and Lesser/Evil Outsider Bane.

Overwhelming Force will knockdown enemies while under the influence of Adrenaline and make them helpless.

Fury Made Placid inhibits Rage and Adrenaline but gives you +6 WIS, healing for 10 seconds and a chance to paralyze and make helpless enemies you attack.

Recommended Twists

Sense Weakness (tier 4) deals up to 30% extra damage to helpless enemies with extra damage to enemies below 25% HP. Sense Weakness stacks with the Ninja Spy's 30% extra damage to helpless enemies using No Mercy. Both abilities work with ranged as well as melee attacks.
