Dave's Faves 2019
The collection for 2019. You'll notice more country - it just sounds more real to me than other pop music. Also, there's three from the Danish String Quartet - the best concert this year by far at the Swedish Institute. It was a concert of Scandinavian folk songs that sound a lot like the early country heard on Ken Burns' Country Music. Other memorable concerts were Dave Alvin at the Cedar, Roseanne Cash at the Zoo and the Fabulous Thunderbirds at Antone's in Austin.
