10/31/09 Girls Finish 4th in the D1 Pickerington Regional, Qualify to State Meet!

The high school girls team qualified for the Division 1 state meet by finishing 4th at the Pickerington Regional. Emily Pifer (4th) and Penny Boswell (13th) each earned All-Regional honors for their performances, while Kayla Scott (18th) just missed the honor by two places. The race was easily the best team race of the year for the Lady Indians as top to bottom each girl placed higher than anticipated on a very wet and sloppy course. Congratulations girls!

Jarrod Genther (36th) and Micah Cobb (66th) each enjoyed very good performances in the boys race. The race served as valuable experience for the two individuals as they hope to return with a full team to the regional meet next season.

Two Indian runners, sophomore Jarrod Genther and junior Micah Cobb, kept the season alive for the boys by qualifying to the regional meet as individuals. The two earned all-district honors by placing 17th and 19th respectively in the race. Congratulations boys team on a great season and to Jarrod and Micah for qualifying to the regional meet!
