PREPARATORY PHASE

Rector’s directive on current evaluation cycle (technical parameters of evaluation) is to be issued
Board and Expert Panels are to be appointed

Board
is to issue academic parameters of the evaluation based on preliminary values of indicators and proposals of the assessed units (by April 11th)
Expert panels
are to agree on detailed criteria for reviewing research outputs and assessing fields and research areas
are to select examples of outputs its quality corresponds to the individual grades of the scale (for each research area)
Units
are to begin drafting the Self-Evaluating Report (should be submitted by January 16th 2020)
are to ensure assignment of researchers to the respective research fields (by July 12th)
are to select research outputs for peer review (by July 12th)
are to check the factual correctness of research indicators and data to be used as the basis for producing bibliometric reports (by August 8th)
By August 8th 2019 should all data entries be closed.
OCTOBER 2019 – MARCH 2020
University
is to provide the bibliometric analysis (by March 31st)
Expert panels and Reviewers
are to ensure the course of peer review and prepare its outcomes (by March 31st)
Units
are to complete drafting of the Self-evaluation report and upload it into the evaluation information system after being discussed by the Research Board of the corresponding unit (by March 31st)
MARCH–AUGUST 2020
Expert panels
are to decide whether it is necessary to carry out any site visits
are to draft the evaluation reports of research areas (by June 30th)
Units
are to cooperate on the realization of site visit if the panel decides to convene it
are to comment on the evaluation reports of research areas (by August 31th)
SEPTEMBER 2020–FEBRUARY 2021
Board
is to decide whether it is necessary to carry out any further site visits
is to draft the Final Report (by October 10th*)
is to finalize the Final Report after the feedback from the units and hand it over to the Rector (by December 22th*)
Units
are to cooperate on the realization of site visit if the Board decides to convene it
are to comment on the Draft Final Report (by November 14th*)
