Research Evaluation Board (accurate translation of the Czech name of this body would be Creative Activities Evaluation Board) is the supreme independent body of evaluation.
What is its Mission?
To supervise the evaluation process in terms of the compliance with its principles, rules, and organisation.
To carry out the final assessment of quality of individual faculties/institutes („units“) of the University.
To perform on site visit of the faculties/institutes, if needed.
To compose and submit the Final Report to the Rector.
Establishment
about 20 members with right to vote
outstanding scientists primarily from abroad or having significant international experience
chair of the Board and about 19 members (including chairs of the Expert Panels)
plus internal members without the right to vote:
Vice-Rector
representatives of Academic Senate, Research Board, Internal Evaluation Board of the University and of the Rector
appointed by the Rector after discussion of the nomination by the Research Board and the International Board of the University
