What is the IS Veda system?

IS Veda ("Information System Research" in Czech) is an information system for registration and evaluation of research activities that is operated by Charles University (not to be confused with the national IS VaVaI system). It consists of modules for registration and evaluation of research, and internal grant competitions of the University.

What is the purpose of IS Veda in relation to the evaluation?

The aim of the IS Veda system is to facilitate the evaluation, i.e. to enable its participants, especially the Research Evaluation Board, Expert Panels, units, and reviewers, to have all the necessary information easily and permanently accessible, to make knowledgeable assessments and decisions, e.g. on the academic parameters of the evaluation, or to communicate at a distance, e.g. by uploading documents such as self-evaluation reports, or outcomes of the biblimetric analysis, peer review and site visits. Participants of the evaluation should use this system to the fullest possible extent.

How and where is it possible to enter the IS Veda system?

Members of the Board, Expert panels, and Reviewers: please consult the relevant manual.
