Hi Sherley! Thank you for completing the persona 😊 I was afraid that maybe the brief I’d suggested was perhaps too complicated because I wanted to imagine about how a “ancient service” that existed in Sardinia in ancient times would be translated in a modern idea nowadays.

Here I have some advices that I hope could help you with the persona:

• It is indeed true that in Sardinian culture, the role of the s'Accabadora is traditionally reserved for women, but its services were requested by families of the terminally ills or people who needed somewhat to “end the pain”. In fact, stories and traditions linked to s’Accabbadora (literally from sardinian dialect, “she who ends it”) are very fascinating, so I’d like to suggest to search in details and edit the persona profile based on this historical context and trying to “imagine” what could be like in these days

• Try also to give a traditional name that could be used in these years in sardinia and a more specific place in which he/she lives (maybe in some town of the central part of Sardinia, such as Nuoro, Oristano, etc.)

• The fact that I’d written in the brief that the payment was to be “free exchange of agricultural and artisianal goods” was due to the fact that for “services” offered by s’Accabadora it was tradition to not receive payments on her behalf, but inhabitants would still offer her food or objects for gratitude. So maybe it is not too important to include this detail in the persona, maybe could be useful in concept development.

For the photo:

I really really like it in general :) I am glad Midjourney generated a somewhat realistic woman who could be living and working (maybe as an artisian or baking seadas?) in some town in Sardinia. There are some missing details about the tools she’s using and some of the objects on the table which I can’t understand or recognize, but maybe there are some technical limits generating images with MidJourney, maybe you could try to see if you can restore some of them. Also try to see if you can place her in a indoor location: if she’s doing something manual maybe she has a workshop or a traditional kitchen but up to you 👍

Hi Enrico, Thanks for the feedback! Based on it, I recreated the persona. I realize the the app users should be two groups of people: S'Accabadora (service provider), and families (service requester), so I created 2 types of persona that represents these two groups of users of the app!

Hi Sherley! Just wanted to write down basically what I said during the review to put everything in order (also because during our meeting my internet connession was inexplicably very poor, it was beyond my control I'm deeply sorry 😞 )

• I found the second version of the personas accurate from a cultural perspective, maybe the images generated were a bit "antique" or a bit biased by the AI regarding historical past of countryside families in Italy, I heard Prof. Cattabriga saying that maybe they needs to be contemporary users, I'd agree understanding that in the end this hasn't to be a "real" product

• The explaination about user-experience of the app was excellent, also the images were really good, maybe MidJourney is a bit biased by the african/asian vibe present in some images so I'd make it to avoid these references, it would be a bit misleading (although ancient sardinians were more culturally african than today)

• Also I found the second palette of warm colours more appropriate with sardinian atmosphere and mood, but that's maybe only a personal opinion of mine

In general really good work! Could I ask you if you could briefly write me back the considerations you made during the meeting thursday? It would be very helpful 😄 

p.s. SaCercaDeAccabadora is my favourite name!
