Well folks, reckon it's time for a catchup. We are now in Baldivis with a very eclectic bunch of fur and feather. But I will back track. We headed to Waikiki for a couple of weeks and our charge there was Charlie. Waikiki is close to Rockingham which we now reckon is our favourite place.
Arriving at Waikiki the kids quickly settled in ..... with a remote each, they were loving it
And this is Charlie, he was one cool cat, he was also a very big cat.
Down on the Rockingham foreshore they had a heap of sculptures and other equally weird shit, these few took our fancy though and for 24 large ones you could buy this seal.
Back home and Charlie is in his favourite position ....
watching the world go by
and in the bathtub
and a comfortable lap
some of the weird shit
An all British car and bike show in Perth, so up early and ride up there. Could of entered Tigger and won first prize for the ONLY British bike in the show...... well actually the ONLY bike in the show. Some lovely Landies and there were some nice cars but basically it was crap. 2 beautifully restored BSA Gold Stars that came in on trailers but were not in the show and a cool Rudge that was in the car park, in good condition and well ridden.
The kids have cabin fever and are keen to get out so back into Rocky (feeling like locals now ) for a play.
Get the kids out and off they go
awww enough to bring a tear to the eyes
need a coffee after that hehehehe
Another cruise and came across these kite boards, this was only a small portion of them.
Our time in Waikiki is nearly up so back to the Rocky foreshore for afternoonsies and watch the sun go down
Then it's goodbye Charlie and Waikiki and hello Three Springs
A beautiful crisp desert morning, it doesn't stay crisp for long though.
All outdoor exploration is done during the morning
This pair of rascals up to rascally stuff
and now for something totally different. Had an opportunity to visit a pistol club and have a few shots and we were so glad we did. We had a ball. Diney got a few holes in the target...... and the ground........ and the framework around the targets hahahahaha, she loved it though.
Annie Oakley load your gun
Point towards those black dot things and pull the trigger wooohooo
Found out single wheel trailers are now legal in Australia so got to thinking I would like to make one, so here we have the main chassis in the making. Will get a bit more done when we get back to Three Puddles.
Now back to the present in Baldivis. We are here till early January and then we head straight to another sit in Wanneroo, more on that when it happens.
Our charges here are the most adorable Esme on the left and John
The kids introducing themselves to Tumma below and Esme and John on the right
Now here is a story for you, the guys had this sucker fish in their tank and friends gave them 3 more, what could possibly go wrong. Within days of all being in the tank around 50+ babies appeared hehehe
hooked up with some wonderful folks for a ride into the back woods where there were some corners, lots of corners, real corners, even corners that went around corners, a most enjoyable day with some magic scenery and good coffee as well.
You don't see to many of these around now, even in standard guise, this Suzuki Katana, heavily modified, scooted along very nicely
Here we have Diney doing what she loves most, snuggles with Tumma.
Now meet Bud, he has to be the funniest, craziest most entertaining pet we have looked after.
preparing breakfast for the crew
forgot to mention Aria the cat and the 4 canary's and a budgie
well there you have it folks, we are still enjoying our life to the max and still loving the house sitting and the pets we look after make it all worthwhile.
Take care over the holidays and believe in what ever you like.
Till next time, loves you all
