Well folks time for a catch up, after Fremantle we headed to York for a weekend of Triumph shenanigans with a swag of Triumphs getting onto the footy field and creating the Triumph logo. Yep that's a whole heap of Triumphs. Photo courtesy of TRWA (Triumph Riders Western Australia)
From there we headed back to 3 puddles were Tigger decided the springy bit in the arse end was not going to be springy any more.
And what a pain in the arse to get it out. Now the next thing is to get another rear shock. Searched around the web, sent emails to the bike wreckers, checked out a new Triumph unit which they had in stock in Melbourne and at $2300.00 it is still on the shelf. Hours of searching and nothing. Josh spends ten minutes on phone and bingo he finds one in SA $2000 cheaper.
Lets hope it works
Sweet, Its the same and appears to be in good nick. It is also a pain in the arse to get it back in but get it in I did and it looks rather spiffy with the yellow spring.
Also made up a new chain slipper and it works a treat
Woohooo everything is back together and working a treat. Now realise the old rear shock was in bad shape for quite a while but it happened so gradually I really didn't know until it finally gave up the ghost.
Not as speccy as the volcano in Hawaii but it looked pretty cool and Miss B and Isabelle were very impressed.
Now Granma, you cannot swat a fly on your arm with a wet paint brush hahaha
Wee ones birthday
Pa, what doing ...... what ever, it is BOOOOORRRRIIINNNNNGGGG
Oh Peppa Pig, thats better Pa
And another birthday. Not so wee this one
Time is marching on and we have to get organised to head to Albany. First up give Tigger a major clean up, and boy did it need it.
Then it's load up time. We get on the road and our first stop is Bike Tyre City, well actually it was Bindoon for coffee then Bike Tyre City for a badly needed rear tyre. Then onto Paul and Pearl for a catch up then back on the road South.
Well Albany, here we are, uneventful ride down which is always good, coffee at a place called the William Wool Shed and an easy run into town.
On to our house sit to meet the owners and our charges for the next 2 months.
Yep I think we have the seal of approval from Bella and Kelly.
Out for our morning constitutional, Kelly on the left and Bella on the right.
Diney with her mothers day pressy snugglies and also we have been hanging out for winter so we can try out our new feet warmers. Well it's winter and they are...... well....... snuggly.
Thanks Paul and Pearl, love you guys
Out and about for a look around, check out wind farm,
Amazing coastline.
Here we are at a place called the gap and next door is the natural bridge. Looking over the edge is enough to make your bum pucker. Weird thing is just heard on the news that some one fell over the edge just after we were there.
Thats the southern ocean out there folks. We are at a place called the blowholes but.... and there is always a but, to actually get to the blowholes there is an 800 metre walk and 70 steps down, yep well that stuffed that one. Hey the car park is cool though.
Who's a good looking fella eh.
Bloody hell, why do we do these things, well Pearl I hope your ears are burning, we still love you though hehehe
The puppies love the beach as well
Well now there you have it folks, what we have seen of Albany so far we really like.
Every body take care and as Nike say, Just do it.
Love from the Gypsies and the very quiet kids this time round, give them time though hahaha
See ya when we are looking at ya xxx
