Hi folks, well the gypsies are happy and on the move again, as I write we are in Geraldton for 3 weeks, but prior to being here we spent a great couple of weeks in Bridgetown. Really nice place, great couple of puppies and chooks, bantams, and lots of wild birds.
loaded up and ready to rock and roll, first stop is Gin Gin for coffee
Our charges are the ever lovable Blue and the adorable Kiki.
Throw in the rest of the menagerie and you have the makings for a wonderful time
Oh yeah now we are talking, and because the first week was cold and showery (they call Bridgetown "Fridgetown") the fire was cranked up and loving it. Yep so did these 2 hehe
The Nannup Tulip Festival is on and we wake up to a nice morning, so on Tigger and off we go, It is also a very nice ride through the hills to Nannup. Not much to be had in the market stalls but the flower displays were brilliant. I did buy myself a beany though, I had forgotten how cold the head gets with this now short hair hahaha
back home and it's puppy time
Anybody know what this plant is called? These guys are relaxing and enjoying themselves ........ as they do
woohooo time to go riding again, if you are early enough this place makes really nice mushroom pies, well shit ...... we were not early enough .... dam
Time to bake bread yummmmmmm and then eat it it of course, fresh cackle berries and sgetti, oh and coffee of course
Photo bomb, some people .... sheesh hahahaha
No you will not get on my lap and I will not ............. dam it's hard to be tough sometimes hahaha
Need to go for a bike ride, this time to Boyup Brook and a great little cafe, monster burgers, good coffee and a delicous blondie ........ the blondie is a cake hehehe
Ok if you don't talk to us we will feed you chard, hows that grab ya
Aw come on Kiki, you don't have to hide
haha knew that would work
late breaky and coffee after walking the puppies, in the morning sunshine
did someone say ride and coffee in the one sentence
Ok Pemberton here we come, well the coffee was ordinary and the food crap, great company made up for it though, will try some where else if we ever head that way again
Ride out to Big Brook Dam, very specy and most enjoyable
Beware the PIG, the stuff nightmares are made of bwahahahahaha
There is a couple of large dams near the house and the bell frogs sing up a storm every night. These 2 came to visit, they are really cool.
What you doing there girl?
No no you guys relax and don't worry about a thing, sheesh, mad pig on the loose and you just don't care do you
So sorry Kiki but the time has come for us to move on, we have had a fantastic time in Bridgetown, loved our charges, enjoyed pottering about in the gardens, walking the puppies, bike rides and coffee with mad mates Paul and Pearl. Yep all been very pleasant.
Back in 3 puddles and the garden is going gang busters and the wee ones were super excited to pick the first of the new potatoes, the girls have been feasting on fresh spinach, carrots and lettuce for a while now and we picked some fresh beets and swedes for roasting, Not long and we will have home grown tomatoes and strawberries
MISS B!!!!!! how many times have I told you, stop teasing Mr Potato Head,
hahahahahaha
Take care, live it to the max and have fun, as we have now all been taught, you never know what tomorrow will bring
Loves ya all
The gypsies and the kids that never argue. xxx
