Service

Service is central to the Scouting movement. At every rank, participation in service projects is required for advancement. Troop 270 builds a love of serving our family, our community, and our country into each and every one of its members.

We conduct service projects on a regular basis.  Among our regular activities are flag retirement ceremonies, flag placement programs, and distributing food to the needy.

Some of our Scouts and Scouters are also involved in the Order of the Arrow, Scouting's National Honor Society for campers, also known as "the Brotherhood of Cheerful Service."
