Individual Honors

Over the years, Troop 270 has been blessed with leadership that has gone above and beyond what many people expect of Scout leaders.  After all they were told, "it's only an hour a week."  Several of our leaders have not only earned awards as youth at the Troop level, but have gone on to earn recognition at the District and Council levels.  Among the awards at the District and Council levels are the District Award of Merit, the Kiwanis BSA Community Organization Award, and the Silver Beaver Award.
