Cordele Boy Scout Troop 270

Upcoming Events:

The Troop has been asked to come show the participants in the "Country Trails and Camp Tales" event at Tokrasee Farm on Thursday evening, April 9.

The Troop has been asked to present the colors at the opening ceremony for a Bible reading event that begins on Friday evening, April 10.  Individuals will be reading the Bible, cover-to-cover and around the clock over several days.

Troop 270 has registered six Scouts and five adult Scouters for Merit Badge University at Camp Osborn on April 10-12.  The adults will be teaching the Trailblazer program for new Scouts.

Order of the Arrow members will have the opportunity to attend Conclave at Moundville, Alabama on April 17-19.

Troop 270 will hold its 13th annual "Send My Butt To Camp" Boston Butt Sale from April 20 through May 10.

The Troop has an opportunity to CAMPOUT and attend a NASCAR race at Talladega Superspeedway on April 24-26.

The Troop will CAMPOUT at the Historic Cordele Boy Scout Hut on May 21 in preparation for the 13th annual "Butt Kickin' Butt Cookin'," which will be held on Friday, May 22.  Butts will be ready for pickup from 4-6 pm that Friday.

Troop 270 will once again participate in the annual Andersonville Flag Placement at Andersonville National Cemetery on Saturday, May 23.

Troop 270 will hold its annual Memorial Day Flag Retirement ceremony at the Historic Cordele Boy Scout Hut on Monday evening, May 25 from 6:30-8:00.

Troop 270 will attend Summer Camp at Camp Old Indian near Travelers Rest, SC on June 14-20.
