Quality Unit Award

Quality Unit Awards were one of a series of ways that the BSA tried to recognize units and individuals within those units that have strong, quality programs.  Troop 270 earned the Quality Unit Award at least six times.  We know this because of surviving streamers on the Troop color staff.  The Troop was presented a streamer, while individuals were awarded a patch for their uniforms.  The program was replaced by the Journey to Excellence program in 2011.
