Upcoming Events:

The August campout will be part of a canoe/kayak trip on the Flint River in Macon County.

The Troop has been invited to a night of fun at the Albany Fun Park on Monday, September 14.

There will be a Day of Service at Camp Osborn on Saturday, September 19.

Camp Osborn will host Cub Scout Fun Day on Saturday, September 26.  This is an opportunity for prospective Cub Scouts to check out the fun of Cub Scouting.  It is another service opportunity for the Troop.

The annual South Georgia Council Camporee will be held at Camp Patten on October 2-4.

The South Georgia Council will hold its annual Wild Game Dinner at the Exchange Club Fairgrounds in Albany on October 8.

The Georgia Peanut Festival will be held in Sylvester on October 16-17.  The Troop will be helping operate the South Georgia Council's BB range.

Cub Family Weekend is scheduled for Camp Osborn on October 23-25.

Troop 270's Fall Court of Honor is scheduled for October 26 at Cordele First Church.

Our "It's Thanksgiving....Butt" Butt Kickin' Butt Sale will run October 26-November 15.

Troop 270 will operate the South Georgia Council's BB range at the Crisp Academy Fall Festival on Thursday, October 29.

The Troop will present the colors at the Veterans Day Service at Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park on Saturday, November 14.

Our "It's Thanksgiving....Butt" Butt Kickin' Butt Cookin' will be held on Monday and Tuesday, November 23-24 at the Historic Cordele Boy Scout Hut.  Boston Butt pickup is scheduled for the afternoon of November 24.

The Troop will support the "Concerned Citizens That Care" Thanksgiving Food Distribution event at the Lions Club Fairgrounds on Wednesday, November 25.
