Cordele Boy Scout Troop 270

Troop News:

Our second fundraiser of the year, "It's Thanksgiving....Butt" Boston Butt Sale will run from October 27- November 17.  Please see one of our Scouts or Scouters for a ticket.  Tickets are $40 each.

Troop 270 will present the colours during the Veterans Day service at Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park on Saturday, November 8. 

The Troop will host an Open House at the Historic Cordele Boy Scout Hut in honor of the 35th anniversary of Troop 270's founding and the 85th birthday of the Hut on November 8 from 3-5 pm.

The Troop will campout at the Historic Cordele Boy Scout Hut on Monday, November 24, in preparation for the "Butt Kickin' Butt Cookin'.

The Boston Butts will be cooked on Tuesday, November 25, and may be picked up at the Historic Cordele Boy Scout Hut from 4-6 pm.

The Troop will be helping distribute Thanksgiving food boxes for the Concerned Citizens That Care at the Cordele Lions Club Fairgrounds on Wednesday, November 26.

Troop 270 will be camping and teaching basic knots during the South Georgia Council's Webelos Rendezvous on December 5-7 at Camp Osborn.

The Troop will hold its annual Christmas Party at the Hut on Monday, December 22.

Troop 270 will be joining Troops from across the South Georgia Council for a weekend of camping and service at Camp Osborn during the annual Frontier Heritage Days event on January 9-11.
