WASHOE NATIVE TANF PROGRAM (WNTP)

The Washoe Native TANF Program (WNTP) provides temporary aid and supportive services to Native American families that are at risk of welfare dependency. The program focuses on providing services that strengthen families, prepare workers for jobs and encourage participants to achieve financial self-sufficiency and healthy-interdependence.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Low-income families or caretaker relatives with at least one qualifying child under the age of 18.

  • The gross monthly family income cannot exceed 200% of the WNTP monthly family income limits.
