ASIAN AMERICANS FOR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT (AACI)

AACI ASIAN WOMEN‘S HOME

10 bed shelter which places its focus on the Asian community. Help is available in multiple languages and dialects. Asian Women’s Home serves everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, immigration status, socioeconomic background, or sexual orientation. All communities are welcomed!

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Asian Women’s Home provides free and confidential services for survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking in 12 languages, including Vietnamese, Mandarin Chinese, and Tagalog.

  • Services include:

        • 24/7 emergency shelter

        • Information and referrals over our 24/7 hotline

        • Case management to access social services, housing, healthcare, education, and employment; assistance with restraining orders and immigration visas

        • Trainings/outreach for community groups, government agencies, and private/nonprofit partners.

We welcome survivors from all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, immigration statuses, and socioeconomic backgrounds. We also host the San Jose Family Justice Center every Thursday at our Story Rd. office, which offers free, walk-in legal consultations for survivors of domestic violence.
