Gardner Health Services provides comprehensive health care services dedicated to improving the health status of all communities in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. We are considered a 'safety net' health care provider for people who face barriers created by financial, cultural, linguistic, or other factors.

Services include:

MEDICAL:

  • Family Practice: The specialty of family medicine is centered on lasting, caring relationships with patients and their families. Our family physicians may integrate a variety of medical services to provide continuing and comprehensive health care. The scope of family medicine encompasses all ages, sexes, organ systems, and diseases.

  • Pediatrics: Our pediatricians specialize in the care of infants, children and adolescents, usually up to the age of 18. They manage the health of your child, including physical, behavior, and mental health issues. They’re trained to diagnose and treat childhood illnesses, from minor health problems to serious diseases.

  • Internal Medicine: Our internal medicine doctors focus on adult medicine. They study the prevention and treatment of adult-related diseases, like diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. Our physicians can work as a general practitioner while building a long term relationship with each patient.

  • Women's Health: Women’s health specializes in the female anatomy and expertise in caring for women, including services in obstetrics and gynecology. Our women’s health clinic work is arranged to collaborate with the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, O’Connor Hospital, St. Louise Regional Hospital, or your hospital of choice in order to maintain continuous service of your care.

  • Podiatry: Some of the most common conditions seen in podiatry are diabetic neuropathy, ingrown toenails, bone spurs, plantar fasciitis, fungal infections, bunions, hammer toes along with follow-up care for minor injuries. Our podiatrists ensures appropriate health care intervention and increases the potential for positive health outcomes of our patients.

  • Chiropractic: Our chiropractic doctors are licensed specialists that treat neck, back and joint pain. Treatment to the musculoskeletal and spine may include manipulation and adjustments, along with other therapies.

OPTOMETRY: Our optometrists are specialists who are trained to examine eye health and vision. They are able to diagnose, treat various eye diseases, and prescribe lenses. Providing the best possible care, opticians assist with fittings and adjusting eyeglasses. We carry a wide range of eyewear.

DENTAL: We offer preventive and diagnostic dentistry, restorative, periodontal, oral surgery, prosthetic treatment, and endodontic therapy (root canal). Our services are provided to patients of all ages.

COUNSELING: We understand the interconnectedness between physical and emotional health. Our counselors, peer partners, and psychiatrists work together with the patients’ physician to improve overall health and wellbeing.

SPECIALTY SERVICES:

  • Women, Infants & Children (WIC): WIC is a free supplemental nutrition program that assists families, pregnant women, new mothers, infants and children up to the age of 5 to eat well, be active and stay healthy.

  • Substance Use: Our outpatient treatment offers a variety of non-residential services and programs to meet client’s treatment needs. Our therapists coordinate with other supportive services including primary health care and recovery services and providers. We also work with social services, housing, and community resources.

  • Drinking Driver Program: We are a state-licensed Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Program offering in-person and remote classes via Zoom. Our efforts are to reduce personal and property losses caused by drivers under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Our Drinking Driver Program helps participants examine the arrest experience and the reasons for their arrest. It also helps them learn to make appropriate driving decisions for the future. Participants are asked to consider the reasons and goals of the program and its requirements for completion. Participants discuss the social, medical, legal and driver safety problems caused by alcohol and other drug use/abuse. The program includes assessments, educational classes, process groups, and one-on-one interviews.
