PENINSULA FAMILY SERVICE - DRIVEFORWARD VEHICLE LOAN PROGRAM

FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT &TRANSPORTATION ARE BOTH KEY!

At Peninsula Family Service we are working to permanently break the cycles of debt and vulnerability through financial workshops, asset and credit-building tools.

OUR FINANCIAL WORKSHOPS

Helps hard-working individuals navigate the extreme costs of living in our region. Participants gain knowledge and practical methods to use in managing their finances and credit.

DRIVEFORWARD PROGRAM:

In partnership with local financial partners, Upward Credit Union and Self-Help Federal Credit Union, provides vehicle loans (up to $12,000) at an affordable interest rate to individuals and families with challenging credit.

REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE

• Live or work in San Mateo or Santa Clara County

• Annual household income up to $75,000 or less (for a family of 3)

• Sufficient disposable income to afford the monthly loan payment

• Valid California driver’s license

LENDING CIRCLE

In partnership with Mission Asset Fund, Peninsula Family Service is excited to offer Lending Circles, an innovative program that turns this peer-to-peer lending program into a creditbuilding opportunity by reporting monthly loan payments to all three credit bureaus.
