THE CALFRESH EMPLOYMENT & TRAINING (CFET) PROGRAM
CFET is a program that helps CalFresh Food recipients gain skills, tools and training to find a living wage job. Participants can engage in a variety of activities: Supervised Job Search, Work Experience, Vocational Training, Pre-Apprenticeship/Apprentice, Adult Education, and Job Retention. Fee is waived for CalFresh recipients.

Write an effective resume;
Receive paid work experience;
Improve your interviewing skills;
Get your high school equivalency certificate;
Learn new job skills in professional, technical or vocational programs;
And help you meet your ABAWD work requirements to keep your CalFresh Food benefits!

You may qualify if you get CalFresh Food benefits. Submit an application & a county worker will let you know if you qualify. Our partner agencies are available to help you submit your application.
