SANTA CLARA COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION MIGRANT EDUCATION PROGRAM (MEP)

The Migrant Education Program (MEP) provides free supplemental education and basic health services to eligible children and youth from 3-21 year of age.

TO BE ELIGIBLE:

• Parents or Guardians must complete a brief interview and intake form with a MEP recruiter.

• Qualifying criteria include having moved in the last 3 years in order to obtain season or temporary work in agriculture or fishing.

REGION 1 SERVES 6 COUNTIES:

• Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco, Alameda, Santa Cruz, and San Benito
