  • In order to facilitate the testing process and reduce waiting times, staff may distribute wristbands that will correspond to specific testing time windows.

  • When patients receive a wristband, they may be asked to return during their assigned testing window. Once all wristbands have been handed out, the

testing site can no longer take additional patients for the day.​ If your test is positive, you will be contacted by phone within 72 hours. If your test is negative, you will be contacted within 2-4 days by email. If you did not provide an email at registration, your results with be mailed to you and will arrive within 7-10 days.

  • Testing is available at the drive-thru pharmacy window. Please bring a valid ID and insurance card if you have insurance coverage.   • El Camino Health’s Los Gatos hospital offers COVID-19 testing for individuals who do not have COVID-19 symptoms (i.e., asymptomatic). A short, half-inch swab is utilized to obtain nasal samples needed for the COVID-19 tests. Tests are required to be scheduled in advance. Schedule an appointment online or call 650-940-7022 and select option 4.
