You can create new leads from an address or a contact as well.
Choose 'New' to create a new lead record.
When creating a new lead, please remember that is has 3 sections: Data, Product and Booking
Click on the Red Target for the Data Collection. Left click on the icon next to the X in the top right corner.
This will pin this stage on a flyout, so it is easier to enter. Collect the customer information. You will enter the primary contact, if they have a spouse, the address, and answer if all homeowners are present. After you collect the information, you will need to select SAVE first to create the lead before moving onto the next stage.
Keep in mind that anything with a RED asterisk is required for you to move on.
As you are entering the information, we want to search to see if the primary contact already exists in our database in CRM so that we do not create a duplicate account.
Use the Create New Contact and it pulls up a form for you to enter. Same for the address. We want to see if they are in our system first. If not, then click create new global address.
You will just need to enter the street address and zip code. The rest will auto-populate, and you can move on very quickly.
There is also a description/summary selection for you to add in any special notes.
The next tab is product selection. Here you will be entering all the products that the customer is interested in. The first section is your primary product. You must choose that first. After that any other products that the customer is interested in, just click YES. Once you have completed the product selection you will just Next Stage and it will push the next business process flow. This will autosave. It can take a minute because it is creating the lead ID, work orders, line items for the sales and the measure appointment, all in the background.
The last stage is the booking and putting it on the schedule board. This is where it collects the data from the schedule board onto the lead.
Under work orders and bookings, you will see the leads that you created. You will see one for each product that was selected.
CRM also creates Quotes for each product. We can keep a lot more detail in CRM. You can also request additional products for a quote.
Leads are good for up to 30 days.
The next thing you will want to do is go to the schedule board for the proper territory and schedule the booking. You can find your work order at the bottom and then drag and drop it to the day and time you want on the calendar.
Be sure that you are selecting a resource card that has the proper credentials for the products your customer picked for his / her appointment.
The customer would then get a text and email reminder about this appointment.
Click the refresh button to ensure your appointment is successful!
