1) Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth
5) Demonstrate the skills and recognise the benefits of working collaboratively
On December 4th, I participated in Primary Sports Day to help organizing the events and selling drinks & snacks. This year, I got a chance to work as the leader of Sports Athletic Management Committee which is the team contributing in organizing and helping school sports events. For Primary Sports Day, I participated in meetings and allocated the high school supporting members in groups with roles during the event. With the other leaders, we decided what we are going to sell and the appropriate prices to make profits. By collaborating with leaders who have strengths in different areas, we could organize the events on the day effectively.
I went to Wells Chonburi campus a day before the event to set up the booth for selling drinks & snacks. On the day of the event, we actively sold drinks & snacks to primary students and parents. For managing the drinks & snacks booth, accurately recording the amount of money spent on inventory, profits, and revenues are the important financial tasks. From the skills I gained from hosting booth during ASAC Football Tournament, I could manage the booth efficiently with accurately recording the financial information. Interacting with primary students was an interesting part. Sometimes it took a long time for primary students to count money and pay for the snacks & drinks and I realized that we need to be patient and support for young customers. Also, it was nice to interact with some students who I met during the Summer School internship. Through this event, I could further develop the skills in organizing events, selling, and finance. I wish to continue to participate in sports events and provide good support!
