On October 11th 2020, I participated BKKMUN hosted by International School of Bangkok(ISB). It was my second MUN conference. As being an official understudy in Wells MUN club, I was pleased to join this conference and learn more through it. I was in the committee of Sustainable Development Council (SDC), being the delegate of the Netherlands. Every delegate in the committee was well prepared, and showed exceptional public speaking skill. The chairs were passionate and substantially led the debate. During the debate, I made two For Speeches and asked many questions to the other delegates. I also prepared for a main submitter speech, however, unfortunately I didn't get to speak. Although, I didn't get the chance to present my speech, I could learn through it. I enjoyed debating with others and listening to their excellent speeches which helped me to learn through it. I made many friends there, there were many freshmen students who were friendly and supportive. Collaborating with them and making resolution was the most fun part in the conference. The chairs also gave rewards to the best delegate, the most passionate delegate, and the most diplomatic delegate. Even though I wasn't placed, it was a great experience made me become better in it. I would like to be active participating in upcoming MUN conferences, and aim for the awards next time.
