INTRODUCTION

Robert Lloyd is a private investigator working in London.

CHILDHOOD & CARTER-WRIGHT INVESTIGATIONS

Robert has spent all his life growing up in London, he knows the streets better than anyone. He is an only child.

Robert has always had a desire to be a P.I, and for a long-time worked independently. However, upon discovering an ad for a position at Carter-Wright Investigations, that soon changed. Robert joined up with fellow P.I's Jack Carter and Katie Wright, the three of them becoming close friends. After time, Robert fell in love with Jack and the two eventually married. The marriage gave Robert another chance at family, having lost both his parents in his 30s. it gave him a step-daughter in Jack's daughter, Ruby Carter-Wright.

JACK’S DEATH 

When husband Jack is tragically killed, Robert is broken and becomes obsessed with justice. Even when his shooter is caught, Robert is still determined to leave no stone unturned- still convinced there is more to undercover. It leads to Carter-Wright Investigations dissolving as Katie breaks away, both going their own path. Robert's path leads him back to independently investigating once more, no longer in contact with much of the previous family unit. His only connection being with his neighbor and step-daughter, Ruby who refuses to be pushed away by the heart-broken man.
