Arianna Yanna is a knight of Camelot and loyal friend to King Arthur Pendragon. Arianna is of the noble family of Yanna and has a strong sense of duty to her home and her people. Arianna (or Lady Arianna Yanna) is the youngest daughter of Lord Nathaniel and Lady Fayre Yanna, and the younger sister of Thomas Yanna.
CHILDHOOD & LIFE BEFORE CAMELOT
Growing up, Arianna experienced a life of riches and nobility. Her father was close friends with King Uther Pendragon, which led to Arianna ultimately becoming close to Prince Arthur. When she was young, Arianna much like Arthur lost her mother. Although Arthur never knew his mother, it was something the two bonded over.
Arianna still felt stifled by her life, never truly able to have the freedom she desired. The freedom to fight and serve the kingdom of Camelot as a knight. Her father, whilst indulging her a little, wanted her to embrace being a noble lady, turning to Uther to help her realise this. This led to her becoming a ward to the king at Camelot later in her life.
CAMELOT & KNIGHTHOOD
Arianna rekindled her connection with Arthur, and befriended his man-servant, Merlin. She joined them on their many adventures and became one of the few who knew of Merlin's magic. Understanding the cost of the truth, Arianna vowed to keep his secret (much like she kept her own brother's mild seer's abilities secret).
After the events of Morgana's betrayal, Arianna was knighted by Arthur alongside Lancelot, Gwaine, Elyan and Percieval. During her years as a knight, Arianna befriended and ultimately fell in love with a tavern serving girl called Serena. love between women, whilst not illegal but still frowned upon led to Arianna and Serena conducting a wedding ceremony in secret.
It was also during these years, during the fight against Morgana’s moves to take Camelot that Arianna lost both her father and her brother. Losses that hurt her deeply.
THE FINAL BATTLE
Arianna ultimately lost her life in the battle against the Saxons. She was killed by Mordred whilst trying to defend her King and friend, Arthur. Arianna left behind her sister-in-law, Brianna, an unborn niece/nephew and her wife, Serena
It’s been centuries since the Battle with the Saxons, centuries since Arianna died. She suddenly awakens lost and confused within a new century and time that looks nothing like the Camelot she left behind. Arianna sets out to try and fit into this new Modern era, and figure out who or what brought her back to the world of the living.
