FULL HISTORY

INTRODUCTION

Jack Carter was a private investigator with Carter-Wright investigations. He was the husband of Robert Lloyd, father of Ruby Carter-Wright and ex-husband of Katie Wright.

CHILDHOOD 

Jack grew up in New York with his parents and older sister, Julia. Jack idolized his mother, Georgia Carter, who worked as a detective in the NYPD. She heavily inspired Jack's own career choices. so he was left heartbroken when she died during a drugs raid when he was 15.

With a new job offer after the death of his wife, Maxwell Carter (Jack's father) uprooted his family and moved to London. At first Jack hated the city that was so unlike his own. but that all changed when he met his neighbor, Katie Wright. The two bonded and became childhood sweethearts.

LIFE, CAREER & DEATH 

Jack married Katie young, both entering the police force together. It wasn't long before they welcomed a daughter, Ruby Carter-Wright. Ruby became Jack's world.

Jack and Katie's love didn't last, as the two divorced when Ruby was 13. However, they still remained friends and later on opened a p.i firm together.

It was when they put the ad for a new investigator that Jack met his husband, Robert Lloyd. For Jack it was almost love at first sight.

Jack ultimately lost his life one late October night, he was found in a back alley by his daughter, Ruby. Her face was the last one he saw before he died.
