Mira Hawke is the oldest daughter of Malcolm and Leandra Hawke, and the older sister to Carver and Bethany Hawke. Mira was forced to flee her home of Lothering when the fifth blight brought Darkspawn to their door. Unfortunately she lost her brother Carver in the evacuation. Mira came to settle in Kirkwall with her mother and sister, Bethany.
Mira has a noble and good heart, always trying her best to do the right thing to protect others. Mira made a number of friends during her time at Kirkwall, particularly she grew close to Aveline Vallen, Varric Tethras, Isabela and Anders (who would come to steal her heart). When the Chantry was destroyed, Mira was furious with Anders' choice. Whilst their views differed, Mira still loved him and the two fled together after the battle with Meredith.
