INTRODUCTION

Marci Stahl grew up in the city of Detroit, the only child of Derek Stahl and Lorelai Stahl. Her mother was close friends with Hank Anderson growing up, leading him to be named Marci's godfather when she was born.

CHILDHOOD

Marci spent a lot of her time with her mother, Lorelai. the two of them being very close. Derek Stahl was distant and cold with his family, and Marci struggled to make a meaningful connection with him. Instead she spent more time with Hank, the two became close.

When Marci was 14, her mother Lorelai was killed by a red ice dealer on her way to pick her up from band practice. Hank was the one to pick her up and tell her the truth. The news left Marci heartbroken and changed her future plans.

BECOMING A DETECTIVE & RETURN TO DETROIT

After leaving school, Marci pursued law enforcement, wanting to follow in Hank's footsteps and become a cop. Her pursuit ultimately led her away from home, and Marci spent her formative detective years in Chicago.

Marci was drawn back to Detroit when a detective position needed to be filled in the wake of the android revolution. Marci reconnected with Hank and became close to his partner Connor, as the three of them tried to make Detroit a safe place for humans and androids alike.
