FULL HISTORY

INTRODUCTION

Katie Wright is an investigator who works with her parents' firm. She previously worked alongside friends, Jack Carter, Robert Lloyd and Lucas Holm as a private investigator for Carter-Wright investigations.

CHILDHOOD

Katie grew up as the only child of Thomas and Annabelle Wright. Her parents worked as lawyers within London, leading Katie's family to be very well-off. Due to her parents often working, Katie was mostly raised by various nannies and never formed a proper connection with her parents.

Katie lived across the street from Jack Carter when she was a teenager, the two of them soon bonded over feeling out of place in their households. Neither wished to follow the parents' encouragement to follow their career paths, instead both wished to join the police. It didn't take long for the two of them to fall in love, they became childhood sweethearts.

CAREER, MARRIAGE & JACK’ DEATH

Katie alongside Jack trained to be a police officer, working their way up through the ranks. The two married young and had a daughter, Ruby Carter-Wright. Their love didn't last as the two divorced when Ruby was 13. Yet despite this, Katie continued to be good friends with Jack. The two even left the police force behind and decided to open their own P.I firm, Carter-Wright Investigations.

Katie met Rebecca when she moved into the private sector, the two immediately hit it off and have been together ever since.

When her ex-husband, Jack tragically died, Katie was mortified. However, in her own grief, Katie wanted to handle and deal with the situation as quickly as possible. Despite Robert's reservations, Katie believed the case was closed with the shooter. This led to a fracturing of Carter-Wright investigations; she has barely spoken to Robert since. Now Katie works for her parents firm as an investigator.
