DS graffiti

This is a large spray paint done at my sisters college campus in a tunnel dedicated to creating art and expressing yourself. The idea of expressing yourself in messy colors with no limits reminds me of kids with a coloring book and infinite crayons, lots of bright colors and messy. With this childlike mindset, I chose a neon primary color scheme with magenta, cyan, and fluorescent yellow. I grew up playing on a nintendo DS and wanted to make this a center piece as it was in my childhood. After testing the spray paint I decided to make this piece on the floor to prevent the paint from dripping down. I also used a technique with tape and white paint first to really make the triangle look as if they are glowing.
