During art one we where assigned to draw something from a different perspective. I wanted to challenge my self to drawing a quick self portrait. This definitely a learning process as I had to experiment with art style, and make a mix between cartoony yet realistic. For a new perspective, I drew my self portrait upside down, as if my feet where on the bed and my head hung off the edge. I liked how the perspective challenged me to draw shirts and eyes differently from normally. The hair was particularly difficult, as I have curly hair and I didn't know how to convey that upside down. If I where to re-do this piece, I would breakdown the hair into larger chunks do give it some volume, shape, and distinctive style.
