iOS Touch Typing Apps

There are a huge range of touch typing apps available on the iOS platform (iPad and iPhone). While many of these apps are fantastic (and others not so), not all are suited to the needs of students with low vision (none of the apps on the iPad are designed for students with no vision). As such, the best app that we have seen (so far) is listed below.

AccelType

$7.99 - AccelType is a simple app that promotes the correct use of fingers when touch typing. Students can adjust the size of the font within the app to increase the visual accessibility. Note that when the size of the font is increased, the user needs to manually move to the next line of text which can be frustrating.
