Focus 40 Blue

The Focus 40 Blue is a 40 cell refreshable braille display that can be connected via USB or bluetooth to a range of different devices such as a tablet, phone or computer. The Focus comes in a range of sizes (the number of braille cells) 14, 40 and 80. The Focus works in conjunction with screen reading technologies (such as JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver) to give access, in braille, to the materials that appear on the screen of the device.

Used in conjunction with a screen reader, the Focus 40 has applications in areas such as :

Literacy
Any subject with written materials
Internet research
Access to emails
Creation and consumption of music content (using, for example, Braille Music Editor 2)
