ClearView C

The ClearView C is a desktop magnifier that allows low vision user access to small print information.

Unlike other desktop video magnifiers, the ClearView C does not have a stand on the back. Instead, it has a C-shaped arm on the left. Because there is no blocking stand at the back, you have much more working space and freedom to move the reading table around. There is more space above the reading table. You do not have to fold pages anymore, you can just flick through your books, magazines and newspapers without any problems

Classroom Applications

  • Access to small print text books
  • Access to small print picture books
  • Access to small print novels
  • Access to maps and diagrams
  • Due to the space between the magnification unit behind the monitor and the X/Y tray a student can place a small print worksheet and use their pen/pencil to write on the worksheet while focusing on the magnified screen to access print. (Please be aware that this is a high level skill that take time and practice)
