PIAF - Pictures In A Flash
PIAF - Pictures In A Flash
PIAF or Pictures In A Flash, is a device that is used to create tactile images.
Classroom Applications
Creation tactile images - simple shapes using outlines for younger students to understand what something looks like (such as the outline of a fish or a shape).
Creation of mathematical concepts - using the swell paper to create graphs that can be read by a tactile dependent student - created quickly within a lesson.
It is suggested that once the original PIAF pens that came with the device originally have been used up, a carbon heavy black texta such as an Artline 70 will work sufficiently with the PIAF.
