About Us

Break Out Canoe Unit is run by the canoeing activities section of Leicestershire Scouts serving the South of the County. Members are drawn from Scout Groups across Leicestershire and beyond. Check the About Us menu for information about the team, our Hall of Fame and downloads.

We are also affiliated to British Canoeing as a Junior Club. Affiliation number: 100584.

Access to the centre is via an unmade track between The Wharf public house and the Simla restaurant on the Coventry Road. Pass through the double gates beyond the pub, and you'll find the Centre about fifty metres further on through the first set of double gates on the left. Please be careful when driving along this track - it is often pot-holed and is particularly bad after rain.
