Fees

• Scout Annual Capitation Fee: varies by year, but in the region of £50. Payable direct to each member's Scout Group. Otherwise unattached Explorers should forward payment to the Break Out Canoe Unit treasurer.

• Course Fee: £36 for 6 weeks.

• Monday evening session (invitation only): £3.50 where a boat is required; £2.50 where you use your own boat.

• Canal journey from Hinckley Water Activities Training Centre: £3.50 where a boat is required; £2.50 where you use your own boat.

• Events away from Hinckley: Event Fee (which will vary from event to event) plus £3.50 where a boat is required.

Note that all of the above fees are payable by adult paddlers only when not supporting or instructing. The Event Fee will be set at a level appropriate to cover the costs of towing the trailer and any additional costs associated with transporting coaches and instructors. The Boat Fee is used to cover equipment costs. Monday evening fees allow for a payment of £1.75 per person to Hinckley Water Activities Club.
