Veroavirs are celestial creatures made to take care of the Libraries of the Universe, which store all the universe's information (history, planets, species, etc.). There are multiple scattered throughout the universe, some are small, some are big.
Their appearance shifts, as they don't have a form comprehensible by other living beings. They have a "general" or "basic" appearance that normally appears, but other parts of their appearance tend to shift.
They’re almost completely solitary creatures, they don’t often come together in groups unless traveling for some reason or they all care for one library. There’s no need for them to come together to reproduce and raise children, seeing as they are incapable of reproducing. A new veroavir is made whenever a new library appears. Libraries can be anywhere, and are normally very well hidden from prying eyes. They’ll guard their libraries fiercely, more than willing to give up their lives if it means protecting the knowledge inside.
They don’t have many internal organs like other species, just two hearts and a brain. They lack lungs, intestines, a stomach, reproductive systems, and other organs other species have. Because of this, they are capable of living in inhospitable environments that other species would die in without lots of protection (space suit). Even if they do have a mouth, most can’t open it, only show their teeth (if they have any). Because they don’t have a working mouth or throat, and therefore don’t have vocal cords, they communicate via an orb on their throat, which emits vibrations that can be interpreted as “speaking” depending on who they’re trying to communicate with. They normally communicate in something similar to Morse Code.
Because they don’t eat, they need to draw energy elsewhere. That energy happens to come from the libraries themselves. Being away from one of the Libraries for too long will start to drain their energy, and eventually kill them if they don’t return. Their heart, rather than pumping blood, pumps the energy through their body. The “blood” that leaks from their wounds is often described as “looking as if you had just painted the ground with the universe itself.” They also, surprisingly, require sleep in order to function properly.
Their magic is directly tied into their Library, based on its size and importance. A small library full of books on minor flora species would be weaker than a large library full of books on important fauna species (ex. humans) information.

Their appearance shifts, as they don't have a form comprehensible by other living beings. They have a "general" or "basic" appearance that normally appears, but other parts of their appearance tend to shift.
They have one (or two, depending on the traits) trait that appears the most, as part of their own base form (ex. 2 Eyes + No Mouth + Human-like Ears + etc). But, due to their shifting appearance, they can end up with other traits, but they have to be the same rarity or below (ex. a veir with No Mouth can only have no mouth, since it’s a C trait and there aren’t any other C Mouth traits, but a veir with a Unicorn Tail [R] could also have a Hand Tail [R] or Reptilian Tail [UC]). They, however, cannot have a trait from a higher rarity in that section (ex. a veir with 3 Eyes cannot have 4 Eyes or 5+ Eyes, due to 3 being an UC trait and 4 and 5+ being R and UR). Overall rarity doesn’t count for the traits, it’s per section (ex. C in Eyes, so C Eyes only, and R in Arms/Legs so C, UC, and R only).
