Here are all of my other Original Species that are canonically a part of the same universe as Bixlues:

Basics
Bixlues are from Bixleriun, however they have spread to multiple planets over time and in some areas they have been domesticated.
Bixlues are pack animals, and prefer to live in large groups referred to as colonies. Some of the smallest colonies -- which are often domestic ones -- have around from 5-10 members, some of the largest have 200+ members.
Bixlues require a lot of space, and typically like to live in forests and grasslands, though preferred habitat can vary with the type (ex. most winged types prefer mountainous areas and Reindeer Bixlues prefer tundras).
Bixleriun is a terrestrial planet (specifically a water planet/world) with a radius of 3140mi, axial tilt of 19.74°, and gravity of 9.8m/s². It is extremely similar to Earth.

Only Shifter type Bixlues prefer savannas. Technically they prefer all habitats, but there aren't any other types that also prefer savannas. No one has figured out why yet, but some people like to lump it in with the true form theory that's been around for almost as long as people have been aware of the type's existence. People have only seen them take the shape of other types, and some think that there's a "true form" they either can't or don't show anyone, besides maybe other Shifters. Since the savannas aren't preferred by any other types and most of the savannas haven't been claimed by any of the four main colonies (only the Colony of the Rising Tides has a small portion of savanna in their territory), some of the people who support this theory think the only reason Shifters prefer savannas is due to there being more available space where they won't be seen by others and therefore can go into their "true form." There are some different versions of the theory, with various levels of believability, different claims, and a variety of supporting evidence, but none have been confirmed yet.

All three of these types have some things in common:
Painters and Snowfalls both have longer fur.
Glass Hearts and Painters both prefer grasslands and forests.
Glass Hearts and Painters are both uncommon.
Glass Hearts, Painters, and Snowfalls all have some sort of glass elements. Glass Hearts have a glass heart stuck in their curled tail along with one on their chest, and all their horns and spines are made of glass. All their glass parts contain some sort of liquid. Painters have glass "tanks" down their underside, in one or both of their front legs, and females have a "tank" in their back. All their horns and spines are also made of glass, and they're all full of paint or some kind of liquid (typically water, soap, solvent, cleaners) depending on the placement. Snowfalls have glass horns, spines, and "tanks" in their tail and legs. Females have a "tank" in their abdomen, while males have glass claws. They have snow inside their tanks, and there can also be other things too, like small trinkets.

On Bixleriun, there are 4 main colonies, which have the largest populations and are the most established (have lots of territory, have been there for a long time, etc.). Those main 4 are the Colony of the Far Fields, Colony of the Broken Mountains, Colony of the Brightened Sunrise, and Colony of the Rising Tides.

If you want the colony altered or removed, send another DM about it. If a colony is on the list, others can add their own characters to it, no private colonies will be added to the colony tracker.
