All Tecani Leonis are assigned as Nonbinary at birth and gender neutral pronouns and terms are used for them. This can be changed by the Tecani at any time once they're at least 3 years old.

Reproduction

Tecani Leonis can’t reproduce like most other creatures.

A new Tecani be created by mixing Souls. The parents get a heart shaped jar from a Priest or Worker who specializes in making the jars, put a small part of their souls into the jar, and leave it in a safe spot for a month while the new soul forms. During that month the soul parts mix and duplicate till the new soul is formed. The jar is made of a special material and will fuse with the soul, giving it a definite shape and physical form. The new Tecani will appear after the soul has a definite shape and physical form.

All Corrupts have cracks and/or missing pieces in their soul.

Level 1

• 1-2 cracks, no missing pieces

• Not very powerful, can be in their Corrupt form for up to 30 minutes and have a cooldown period of 6 hours. Only change to Corrupt form when fighting or experiencing strong negative emotions.

Level 2

• 3-4 cracks, no missing pieces

• Somewhat powerful, can be in their Corrupt form for up to an hour and have a cooldown period of 4 hours. Only change to Corrupt form when fighting, hunting, or experiencing strong negative emotions.

Level 3

• 5-9 cracks, can have a couple very small missing pieces

• Powerful, can be in their Corrupt form for up to 2 hours and have a cooldown period of 1 hour. Normally only change to Corrupt form when fighting, hunting, or experiencing strong negative emotions. Can change at will, but their time is halved and their cooldown is tripled.

Level 4

• 10+ cracks, any amount of missing pieces

• Very powerful, can be in their Corrupt form for as long as they'd like and they normally don't have a cooldown period unless they overexert themself.
