God promises to rescue messy people!

Even though the people in Jesus' family tree were messy, God stayed faithful to them, and he is still faithful to us.
Isaac was not the rescuer that God promised, but the family tree of Jesus continued with his Son, Jacob. Jacob was messy and sinful - he was jealous of his brother, he tricked his dad, and he didn't always obery God, but God promises to rescue messy people.
Adam needed a Savior.
Noah needed a Savior.
Abraham needed a Savior.
Isaac needed a Savior.
Jacob needed a Savior.
We need a Savior too.
God kept His promise and sent Jesus. Jesus loves us. Jesus never sinned. Jesus came to rescue us from our sin. God promises to rescue messy people! And he does through Jesus!
