In the beginning, God created everything and he said it was good! He made a beautiful garden for Adam and Eve, and he loved them very much. Adam and Eve could enjoy everything that God had made, but he had oen rule: Do not eat from one special tree. 

They didn't listen to God, and the ate from the special tree. Not listening to God was a sin. When Adam and Eve sinned, the world was no longer perfect.

God still loved Adam and Eve and made a promise to send someone to rescue His people, and that the rescuer would be part of their family. They had a son named Seth, but he wouldn't be the rescuer. 

The people were messy. They sinned. But God remains faithful. God loves his people so much and promised to send a Savior to rescue us from our sin so we can be with God forever. God loves us and promises to send Jesus!

We can see God's faithfulness in Psalm 100:5.
