Results
The results are displayed in the Results: Team 1 vs Team 2 frame. They are calculated on the basis of scores achieved in the first and second room.
The result always refers to Team 1. If it's positive, it takes the color of Team 1; if it's negative, it takes the color of Team 2; if they are equal, it takes white.
Methods used for calculations:
Single dummy analysis - statistical number of tricks based on the balance sheet and visible partner cards. Information obtained from opponents' auctions is also used. Therefore, if the other side has bid, the number of tricks on both tables may be different.
SD analysis is not perfect as the exact hands of the opposite are not known.
BBA includes three versions of SD:
the first is based only on your own hand and your partner's implied cards. This version is used during bidding and includes the bidding;
the second version is based on your own hand and your partner's actual cards and includes the bidding. The result is displayed after the bidding:
in the Tricks box as:
SD1 for room 1;
SD2 for room 2,
in the results frame,
the third version is based on your own hand and your partner's actual cards and is programmatically invoked using EPBot.dll.
Double dummy analysis. The double dummy result is the number of tricks the declarer will win when all four players can see all 52 cards, and each player always plays to his or her best advantage. The program used to calculate DD tricks is Bridge Calculator by Piotr Beling.
The DD analysis is not perfect as the actual plays may be non-optimal;
Play analysis - play based calculation.
SD1 and SD2 tricks displayed in the Tricks box after bidding:
SD1 for room 1;
SD2 for room 2.
Contract, player and the score obtained by team 1 in the first room;
Contract, player and the score obtained by team 1 in the other room;
The result of the deal:
Total - sum of points for team 1;
MP - match points in% (Match Points);
IMP - International Match Points,
Total results:
Average % of the hands gained so far;
Average number of IMPs obtained per hand,
Save scores;
Reset scores.
During the auction, SD and DD are not used because players only know their own hands.
DD has 30 second to analyze the hand, after which the hand is skipped.
In automatic bidding, due to the equal skill level of bots, the impact of the imperfection of bidding on the results obtained is minimized.
