Hand entering
Bridge Bidding Analyser can generate its own hands or accepts the following hand entry formats:
BBA format, for example: 08F293C8BE4B3E82F59A9F8384D5
LIN
and the following ways of entering them:
by opening a file
by paste a file path
by paste a file content
by drag and drop a file
by associating the file extension with the program
by launch the BiddingAnalyser.exe with command line arguments
reload the hand using menu Reload or button F6;
randomly generating a hand using menu New random deal or button F7;
dragging the file over the window with the hand number and dropping;
You can drag and drop the saved *.lin or *.pbn file as long as the application is not running with administrator privileges.
opening a file using the right-click menu of the deal Open a *.lin or *.pbn file or the CTRL + O hotkey;
The file is selected after the dialog box opens.
opening the saved file via BiddingAnalyser or, if you have previously associated *.lin or *.pbn files in Windows with BiddingAnalyser.exe, by double-clicking the file in Windows Explorer.
Opening and choosing the default application to open a *.lin or *.pbn file
using the right-click menu of the deal Copy the current deal i Paste a copied *.lin or *.pbn file or handviewer URL (one of the six versions) or keyboard shortcuts CTRL + C and CTRL + V. This option allows you to enter a hand in 4 ways:
Copying a saved *.lin or *.pbn file and then clicking Paste a copied * .lin or * .pbn file or handviewer URL or using the CTRL + V keyboard shortcut.
Copying the contents of the *.lin or *.pbn file from a computer and then clicking Paste a copied * .lin or * .pbn file or handviewer URL or using the CTRL + V keyboard shortcut.
Copying the current hand (from the same or another application) through the context menu of the hand Copy the current deal (without having to save the file to disk) and then clicking Paste a copied * .lin or * .pbn file or handviewer URL or using the CTRL + V keyboard shortcut.
Copying the hand's web address from the page http://www.bridgebase.com/tools/handviewer.html and then clicking Paste a copied * .lin or * .pbn file or handviewer URL or using the CTRL + V keyboard shortcut.
launch the BiddingAnalyser.exe with command line arguments:
number of deal, for example: 08F293C8BE4B3E82F59A9F8384D5
a path to the file with the extension: .bba, .lin or .pbn
a path to the file with the extension .www. You can specify additional parameters after the characters --
--ARCHIVE_FILE
Forces archive file name. Examples:
--ARCHIVE_FILE file_name
--AUTOBID
Forces automatic bidding and archiving (according to current settings.) of hands from the given file. Examples:
--AUTOBID --HAND ...\test.pbn
--HAND ...\test.pbn --AUTOBID
--BBSA_FOLDER
Specify a folder to read CC files. Example:
...\Downloads\fsf.pbn --BBSA_FOLDER ...\Desktop
--CURRENT_ARCHIVE
Specify the current folder to write archive files
--HAND
Specify the hand. Can be omitted if there are no other parameters.
--UNICODE
Forces UNICODE decoding for the given file (usually pbn). Example:
