Hand entering

Bridge Bidding Analyser can generate its own hands or accepts the following hand entry formats:

and the following ways of entering them:

You can drag and drop the saved *.lin or *.pbn file as long as the application is not running with administrator privileges.

The file is selected after the dialog box opens.

Opening and choosing the default application to open a *.lin or *.pbn file

Copying a saved *.lin or *.pbn file and then clicking Paste a copied * .lin or * .pbn file or handviewer URL or using the CTRL + V keyboard shortcut.

Copying the contents of the *.lin or *.pbn file from a computer and then clicking Paste a copied * .lin or * .pbn file or handviewer URL or using the CTRL + V keyboard shortcut.

Copying the current hand (from the same or another application) through the context menu of the hand Copy the current deal (without having to save the file to disk) and then clicking Paste a copied * .lin or * .pbn file or handviewer URL or using the CTRL + V keyboard shortcut.

Copying the hand's web address from the page http://www.bridgebase.com/tools/handviewer.html and then clicking Paste a copied * .lin or * .pbn file or handviewer URL or using the CTRL + V keyboard shortcut.

You can specify additional parameters after the characters --

Forces archive file name. Examples:

--ARCHIVE_FILE file_name

Forces automatic bidding and archiving (according to current settings.) of hands from the given file. Examples:

--AUTOBID --HAND ...\test.pbn

--HAND ...\test.pbn --AUTOBID

Specify a folder to read CC files. Example:

...\Downloads\fsf.pbn --BBSA_FOLDER ...\Desktop

Specify the current folder to write archive files

Specify the hand. Can be omitted if there are no other parameters.

Forces UNICODE decoding for the given file (usually pbn). Example:

...\Downloads\fsf.pbn --UNICODE
