Checking a Start box (4) automatically bid randomly generated hands.
It enables automatic bidding of the given hand in both rooms and comparison of estimated results. The result is displayed in the Results: Team 1 vs Team 2 frame.
If multiple hands are entered, they will be auctioned first to last. Number of loops is equal to the number of hands entered.
There are three filters working simultaneously:
IMP;
loop count;
convention or sequence.
The loop will stop in the following cases (Archive check box must be unchecked):
The loop will stop if:
the difference between the results of Team 1 and Team 2 reaches the value entered in the IMP (1) text box;
Team 1's score will exceed Team 2's score by the amount entered in the IMP (1) text box with the sign +;
Team 2's score will exceed Team 1's score by the amount entered in the IMP (1) text box with the sign -.
The loop will stop if:
the number of hands will be equal to the number entered in the Number of loops textbox (2).
The textbox is ignored if multiple hands are entered. Then the Number of loops is equal to the number of hands entered.
The loop will stop if:
the selected convention will occur (3).
Disabling "Double dummy" significantly speeds up loop execution.
If you just want to outbid hands and save to the archive, use the option "First room only" which disables bidding in the second room (to increase speed).
If you have a *.pbn file containing DD tricks you can use the option: "Read all DD from selected *.pbn file" to skip recalculating DD tricks (if a hand is missing DD tricks it will be calculated).
The option: "Write all DD to PBN file" will write DD tricks to the pbn file for all players and contracts but will cause a significant speed drop.
