It is possible to archive the hands in several formats.
If Archive check box is checked (5), the deals that meet the selected criteria will be added to the archive file without stopping.
The archive filename consists of the date and the extension appropriate to the archive type selected from the archive chechbox pop-up menu.
To archive hands with a selected bidding sequence, enter that sequence as in example (3). The sequence must contain at least one "-" character.
For multiple combinations you can use "*" and "?" (never 1? or ?1 or *? or ?*):
"*" instead of each character (examples: -1*- or -*S-),
"?" without any other sign instead of the entire bid (example -?-),
"*" instead of P or X (example -*-),
"**" instead of any bid excluding P and X (example -**-).
By typing: ?-2*-**-*-*n you could find:
W N E S
1D
2C 2H*1 P 2N
P 3N P P
P
or
W N E S
P 2H 3H*1 P
3N*2 P 4C P
P P
to find auctions with double type: X-
to find auctions with redouble type: XX-
to find contracts with double type: X-p-p-p
to find contracts with redouble type: XX-p-p-p
to find contracts at level 6 (may be 1-7) type: 6-p-p-p
In the case of bid sequences, the results are counted exceptionally only for hands containing these sequences.
To archive hands with a specific convention, select this convention as in example (3).
The archive file is overwritten with hands that meet the selected criteria. If no criteria are defined then all hands are saved.
Disabling the "Double dummy" option significantly speeds up loop execution, up to 500,000 hands per hour for sequence searching.
